A recent UN report states that 250,000 people died in the Horn of Africa due to a famine that occurred between 2010-2012. While cries for help went out during that time period, the bureaucratic answers were along the lines of “we only have 10 cents budgeted to feed each person…there’s not enough money.”

During that same period, the U.S.A. and other western regimes spent more than a combined US$1 Billion in the region to fight the “war on terror.”

Five years ago in February on “leap day,” I opened up this nook of the interspaceworldwebnets. This marks the 500th post. The math of it all adds up to: time for a break.

I’ll be back. Until then, don’t take life so seriously all of the time!
