Mountain biking, for me, began somewhere around the age of five in a place called Michaux at a time when mtb was not in the abbreviated vernacular, and the bike I rode was not a mountain bike. I find myself, often, when biking on trails, no matter the location.
And I find myself in places unfamiliar to me. It has something to do with the discovery of self that can occur more readily, perhaps, when away from the same four walls. This, I believe.
The travels found on vagoscribe are mostly related to work. The great fortune I’ve lived thus far is mostly a result of lives lived by those that have come before me and some luck that maybe is influenced by a little of my own determination.
I hope, though some days it seems selfish, that I may continue to live as I have…
